Home Economics has been a buzz of energy with the Year 9's focus on Creative Cupcakes. The Year 9's took a closer look into the art of baking cupcakes and the products and techniques used to decorate them. We made a variety of cupcakes styles as well as investigated and practiced a range of frosting methods. Cupcakes can be visually stunning and are popular choice in the creative cake market. We investigated presentation skills, flavour combinations and colours as well as talking about the importance of first impressions.
