On Friday the 21st of August the school took both the steers and goats to Kadina for a handlers competition where we had a few successes during the day. First up were the steers, with handlers Tia Waters, Max Crouch, Charlie Heinrich and Tanisha Wakefield who all placed in each of their heats. Tia Waters, Max Crouch and Charlie Heinrich made it to the final round. During this competition they were looking for the best relationship between handler and steer, Tia Waters won the handlers competition with her steer 'Nigel'. In the goat handlers competition we had one student, Chad Flavel place in one of his heats and make it into the final round with his goat 'WD-40'. 

We also competed in a Grand Parade with Rowan Ramsay as the judge for this event, there were 8 schools who competed and we placed second overall. 

Due to the Adelaide Show being cancelled we entered 2 steers into the Stock Journal Virtual Competition.  We had to submit pictures and videos of our steers for online judging. Results from this event are still being posted and videos can be found on the Stock Journal website. We were very successful in this event receiving second place in the Light Domestic Class with our Black Angus 'Nigel'.
