This week the highlight of the week has been the news that “Nigel” won 2^nd place in the Light Domestic Steer class of the Stock Journal Virtual Led Steer competition. Next week our wethers will head to Adelaide with a small show team and we wish them all the best. Together with the achievements 2 weeks ago with the steers and goats at Kadina, I would like to acknowledge Nicola, Leon and all of the students involved. Congratulations.

Last Friday night we had the launch of our 2019 vintage and also the opening of our SALA exhibition. If you haven’t yet been in to view the exhibition of student work it is well worth the effort. The exhibition is on the school hall so please come to the front office to sign in and view the amazing art works before the exhibition is removed. It is a very diverse range of artworks that showcases the achievements of our students. Jackie McAllister and the senior art students are to be commended on the exhibition.

We were very excited last week to see our new sign installed at the front of the school. We have received very positive feedback about it and encourage you to drive past one day and have a look.

In staffing news congratulations to Daniel Seidel on winning the Principal’s position at Airdale Primary School Port Pirie for 5 years starting in 2021.  Whilst we are very disappointed he is leaving us we do wish him all the very best in his new role.
