Principal's Report

As we come to the end of the 2020 school year I would like to thank everybody who has helped us all to get through one of the most challenging years. It is through the support of all our families, the determination of our students and staff that we have navigated the ever-changing restrictions and environment.

The Port Broughton Picnic yesterday was a wonderful way to celebrate the year in a very informal setting with students across the year levels interacting throughout the day. With perfect weather we were delighted this event was able to continue after so many events have been cancelled or modified this year. The Presentation Assemblies for Year 8-11 and Year 12 were held on Monday and they were certainly very different events without the family and friends presence to celebrate student successes. If any families would like access to the photos from either of the assemblies please call the school and we will determine the best way for you get a copy.

During the assemblies we farewelled a number of staff: Daniel Seidel, Michelle Baynes, Jordan Smith, Eden Caputo and Angela Spiteri. We wish them all the best in the variety of different roles they will be undertaking.

We are excited to announce the following new staff will be joining us in 2021:

Toby Cocks- Design and Technology teacher, Kate Seidel – Middle School Coordinator, Nathan Gillard – Student support, Ali Gulin- Clerical support.
