On Wednesday 3^rd of March, the Stage 1 & 2 Outdoor Education students travelled to the Wirrabara forest to complete an investigation for their “About Natural Environments” task. Throughout the day students were responsible for route selection, packing equipment and navigation. The students walked a total of 8kms on the forest circuit trail and analysed the sustainability practices that had been put in place in the reserve. Each student demonstrated their leadership skills throughout the walk and was required to assign roles to each of the group members.  Thank you to Barry for ensuring that we all made it there safely and to all the students for making the day so enjoyable!
