The knockout cricket match was held at Clare on 25th of February. The day started off with our captain Baiden Wilsdon winning the toss and choosing to bowl. The Clare opening batters got off to a flying start, with tough catches dropped by us and the two openers managing to get over 100 runs each. Their opening partnership produced over 200 runs complementing their total of 291 runs. There were a couple of highlights for us throughout the bowling with Max Crouch taking his first ever wicket in cricket and Luke Hombsch taking another exciting wicket. The batsman had a mammoth task to complete where the fielding fell short. We had a steady start with the openers getting a 14 run partnership. The highlight of the batting was Callum scoring 71 runs not out with sixes heading in every direction and Jaxon nudging his way to 23 runs.

A massive thanks to Leon and Ben Crawford for driving us to and from our game. Also a big thank you to my team mates, we played our best and had a lot of fun, which is what it is all about. Also special thanks to Mr Bartlett for coaching, umpiring, driving and getting the team together so we could play.
