ANZAC DAY
On ANZAC Day, dawn services were held in both Crystal Brook and Gladstone. Both ceremonies were attended by student representatives who were required to lay a wreath in respect to passing soldiers. Gladstone High school was represented by Casey Cleggett and Alex Reynolds at the Gladstone service and Max Crouch and Tanisha Wakefield at Crystal Brook. Laying a wreath for the school is a traditional symbol of honour and respect to those who served and died in all wars as well as the suffering of all those who have served. The service included a combination of military, symbolic and religious traditions that were presented to many participants that attended.
