DUSTY FEET MOB
As part of sharing Aboriginal culture at Gladstone High School, staff and students were entertained by Dusty Feet Mob from Port Augusta. The group consists of young Aboriginal children who share Aboriginal stories through song and dance. Our students were able to be interactive and join in which was met with smiles and laughter.
A BBQ tasting of kangaroo sausages and patties was shared by all – BIG thanks to Leon and Josh for cooking it for us.
Isabelle – It was cool!
Matilda – I loved ‘took the children away” dance
Hanna – Interesting moves.
Chloe - it was emotional and confronting
Skye – they were amazing!
Elisabeth – They were fun.
Jackie McAllister – It was transformative, students were drawn in and DFM and GHS children were responsive to each other.
