Principal's Report
We certainly hope you all enjoyed the three day long weekend and had a chance to relax and recharge. This week we have had a number of students who have attended school despite feeling unwell. Whilst we have high expectations for attendance and are actively encouraging students to attend school regularly, it is important to keep students at home if they are unwell.
On Friday Mr Bartlett has organised for interested students to be part of a Virtual Cross Country. It will be great opportunity for students to engage in some organised physical activity. Their times will be recorded and compared to students around the state. We look forward to seeing as many participants as possible. This event is also a chance for students to show off their crazy socks as the Student Leaders raise money for the mural they have planned at the entrance to the school.
Last week we sent a letter of "Expression of Interest" home for all current Year 8 and 9 students regarding the Ski Trip for 2021. We plan to take Year 9 and 10 students in 2021 to ensure that the current Year 9 students still have the chance to attend this memorable camp. Please return the forms as soon as possible stating your intentions.
Congratulations to our wonderful SSO’s who once again held a very successful Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea on Wednesday afternoon. With take away boxes available for our local primary school staff it was a very successful fundraiser for the Cancer Council.
